There’s been a big drop in temperature recently and now winter is well and truly here, there’s nothing quite like arriving into the luxury of a really warm home. This is especially true over Christmas, with family arriving to stay and visitors dropping in – all keen for a warm welcome!
So if your clients house is a little chilly in spots, or there’s rooms that could do with a heating boost, you’ll find this article useful. We’ve put together our range of heating solutions that’ll help your customers enjoy the comfort of warm spaces, throughout their homes – not the kind of heating that leaves some rooms freezing while others are sweltering, but proper, controllable comfort throughout the home.
Smart Electric Radiators That Actually Make Sense
Our electric thermal radiators aren’t just like the old, regular boxes that get hot – they’re designed to heat spaces efficiently without the massive energy bills that traditionally come with electric heating.
iLifestyle Electric Thermal Radiator
The iLifestyle has won industry-led awards for good reason. It’s WiFi-connected (properly, not the frustrating kind), works with Alexa, and comes with PID Intelligent Control that actually reduces energy consumption rather than just claiming to do that!
This rad. heats up fast thanks to high-quality thermal oil, and the Open Window Technology means it’s not pointlessly pumping out heat when someone’s left a window open. Your customers can control it from their phones, set custom schedules with the Adaptive Start feature, and it runs silently – no clicking or humming.
Installation’s straightforward too. Universal metal wall brackets that lock the bottom of the radiator in place, large TFT display that’s easy to read, and three operating modes: Eco, Comfort, and Frost Protection.
What customers really appreciate during winter is that Adaptive Start feature. It learns how long each room takes to heat up, then starts warming the space at just the right time to hit the target temperature exactly when needed. No more waking up to a freezing house at 7am because the heating didn’t kick in early enough.
Aeris ECO WiFi Ceramic Radiator
If your customers want something that heats spaces quickly, the Aeris ECO does exactly that. Die-cast aluminium fins distribute heat efficiently, whilst the ceramic core element provides fast, consistent warmth.
What sets it apart? Four operating modes including a Landlord mode (handy for rental properties), Open Window Detection, and a lockable keypad. Control it via the Tuya Smartlife app or directly on the radiator itself.
Plus there’s overheat safety protection built in – peace of mind for customers worried about leaving heating on whilst they’re out visiting relatives over Christmas.
The ceramic core technology makes a real difference in heat-up speed compared to traditional oil-filled radiators. We’re talking minutes, not the half-hour wait some older systems need. Perfect for rooms that only get used occasionally – guest bedrooms, home offices, that sort of thing.

Varena Electric Thermal Radiator
Sometimes people just want something simple that works. The Varena‘s designed with both installers and end-users in mind – no complicated setup, no confusing menus.
Filled with thermal emission oil for quick heat-up, large TFT display screen, and straightforward 24/7 programming. Three operating modes cover most needs, and it’s got Open Window Technology to avoid wasting energy.
Aesthetically, it looks good too. Not every customer wants their radiators to be a statement piece – sometimes they just need to blend in and do the job.
Why Electric Heating Makes Sense This Christmas
Look, we know electric heating has had a bad reputation for running costs. But things have changed enormously. Modern electric radiators with intelligent controls can effectively compete with traditional systems – especially in properties where installing wet central heating isn’t practical or would cost a fortune.
The key is controllability. Old storage heaters charged up overnight and then dumped all that heat out whether you needed it or not. Our radiators heat specific rooms only when needed, to exactly the temperature required, with no energy wasted heating pipes and water throughout an entire system.
For your customers with extensions, conversions, or properties where extending existing heating isn’t viable, electric thermal radiators offer a genuinely competitive solution. And installation costs are significantly lower – no pipework, no boiler upgrades, no radiator balancing headaches.
Bathroom Heating – Because No One Likes a Freezing Bathroom
There’s something particularly miserable about stepping out of a warm shower into a cold bathroom. On the other hand, when you step out of a shower into a cosy warm room, its sheer luxury. Bathroom heating isn’t a luxury – it’s about basic comfort when temperatures drop.
Pacific RF Towel Radiator
Part of our Smart Range, the Pacific RF works brilliantly alongside our Sun Ray RF and Merida RF heaters. WiFi controllable via app, compatible with Alexa and Google Home, and equipped with PID Intelligent Control to keep costs down.
Four operating modes including Landlord Mode, Adaptive Start scheduling, and Open Window Technology. Large TFT display makes it easy to use without pulling out a phone every time.
The beauty of the RF system is that customers can group bathroom heating with their main heating zones or keep it separate. Some people want their bathroom toasty first thing in the morning but cooler during the day. Others want it warm all day for elderly family members. The scheduling flexibility handles both.
Pacific Heated Towel Radiator
Not everyone needs smart functionality. Our standard Pacific Heated Towel Radiator is modern-looking, made from carbon steel for longevity, and comes pre-wired with an electric element.
Available in chrome or white across five sizes, and there’s now a 12-rail model available. Quick to install, 100% leak tested, and backed by a two-year warranty. Does what it says on the tin.
Chrome finishes work brilliantly in modern bathrooms, whilst white options blend seamlessly with traditional designs. The 12-rail model offers more hanging space for larger families – particularly useful over Christmas when everyone’s visiting and there’s never enough room for towels.
Bavaro Downflow Heater
For instant heat in cold bathrooms, the Bavaro produces a warm downflow of air. Wall-mounted, pull cord operation, two power settings (0-1kW and 1-2kW), and fitted with dual safety cut-outs.
Simple, effective, and easy to install – sometimes that’s all customers need.
Defog Heater
We also stock the Defog Heater – purpose-designed for bathroom environments where condensation and mirror fog are constant annoyances. It’s amazing how much customers appreciate a heater that actually deals with steamed-up mirrors properly.

Heating Design Service
Here’s something a lot of stockists don’t realise we offer: proper heating design and heat loss calculations.
Your customers (particularly those working on new builds or renovations) can send us CAD drawings or even just sketches with dimensions, and our dedicated team will:
- Calculate the area and volume of each space
- Work out exactly how much energy’s needed to heat it properly
- Recommend the right type and quantity of heaters
- Provide a Heating Consumption Cost Analysis showing approximate annual running costs
This takes the guesswork out of specifying heating solutions. No more “I think three radiators should do it” – just proper calculations based on room dimensions, glazing, insulation levels, and heat from adjacent areas.
Send drawings to technical@atc.ie
We’ve seen too many installations where contractors under-spec heating to save money upfront, then customers complain about cold spots all winter. Or the opposite – massive over-specification that costs a fortune to run. Our design service eliminates both problems.
The heat loss calculations account for everything: wall construction, window sizes and types, ceiling height, floor insulation, even which direction rooms face. It’s proper building physics, not guesswork.
Wireless Heating Controllers
Smart heating control doesn’t have to be complicated. Our wireless controllers let customers create heating schedules that match how they actually live – not some generic programme that assumes everyone’s home at the same time every day.
RF Gateway
The RF Gateway connects our Sunray RF, Merida RF, and Pacific RF products to the internet, giving proper control from phones or tablets.
Each Gateway handles up to 30 devices securely. Control heaters individually or programme multiple units together. The Tevolve apps (Android and iOS) let customers monitor individual heater power consumption and room temperatures – daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly.
It’s the kind of data that helps people understand where they’re using energy and where they might be wasting it. We’ve had customers discover they were heating unused rooms for hours every day – costing them hundreds annually for no reason.
Additional Controllers
We also stock the Nexum RF, Heatstat Room Thermostat, and Bluetooth Heating Controller – each designed for different installation scenarios and customer preferences.
The Bluetooth option works well for customers who don’t want internet-connected devices but still want smartphone control when they’re home. The Heatstat offers traditional wired thermostat reliability with modern features.

Making Christmas Comfortable
Christmas means different things for different households. Some customers are hosting extended family, needing extra rooms heated that normally stay cold. Others are traveling and want minimal heating whilst they’re away, but want to come home to warmth.
Our heating solutions handle both scenarios easily. Zone control means heating only the rooms being used. Smart scheduling means programming heating to ramp up a few hours before guests arrive. Frost Protection mode keeps properties safe whilst owners are away without wasting energy maintaining full temperature.
And because everything’s controllable via smartphone, customers can adjust heating remotely if plans change – which they always do over Christmas.
