Background – A Belfast Electrical Wholesaler made contact with us because his Electrical Contractor required some support with a LIVE Project he was working on on at Colin Glenn Driving Range on the outskirts of Belfast. The 15-bay driving range was having a complete refurbishment and needed a form of heating for each bay individually.
Site Survey – On conducting a site survey, the end user wanted a compact patio heater. I had a sample Alfresco 1.8kw Infra-red heater which they initially liked but when we positioned it in the desired location they felt it was a little wide for the steel beam. I suggested the 2kw Varma option via of our product catalogue.
Sample Installed – A Varma was installed with a time lag switch which got the approval and all 15 Varma heaters where ordered.
Results – A happy business owner and will keep his customer warm in the evenings throughout the year.
Conclusion – We offer site surveys for all applications and this support is invaluable to ATC Stockists.
